About Us
Amanda Bruse is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt under André Galvão, affiliated with Atos Jiu-Jitsu HQ in San Diego, California. She has achieved significant success in the sport, including a gold medal at the IBJJF No-Gi Pan Championship in 2022 and a silver medal in the absolute division at the same event. Additionally, she has been a semi-finalist at the ADCC West Coast Trials in 2022.
Amanda is also a psychology major at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), class of 2024, and integrates mental strategy with physical technique in her coaching approach. She is the founder of Kimono Boutique, an apparel brand designed for women in the BJJ community.
