Leandro Vieira is a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt, co-founder of the renowned Checkmat BJJ team, and a distinguished instructor with decades of experience in the sport. Born on June 5, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he began training in BJJ at the age of 5, alongside his brothers Leonardo and Ricardo Vieira, both of whom are also prominent figures in the BJJ community.
