About Us
Describing Bravos BJJ as just a martial art gym reduces its true meaning. Jiu-Jitsu has always been more than a sport for me. I have been practicing Jiu-Jitsu for more than 25 years, and in that time I came across many life-changing stories. This reassures me Bravos is more than a gym.
At Bravos BJJ we offer a wide range of classes to suit all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced students. Our beginner program is designed to bring students from white belt to blue belt level, teaching the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense techniques using a super effective methodology. We also offer advanced classes for more experienced students and classes specifically focused on competition preparation.
After 9 years of teaching in Australia, I’m proud of leading the best competition team in WA under the Australian Federation AFBJJ. I’m also very confident in the methodology I developed. Being able to coach a person that had never practiced Jiu-Jitsu to be World Champion IBJJF in 3 years was one of the biggest achievements of my career as a coach
