Leo began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 1994 and earned his black belt in 2004 after a decade of dedication, training under renowned masters Murilo Bustamante, Jose Mario Sperry, and Bebeo Duarte at Brazilian Top Team in Rio de Janeiro. During this period, he also completed a degree in Physiotherapy, specializing in sports therapy and acupuncture. Over the next four years, Leo focused on refining his BJJ skills, studying under some of the world’s top practitioners.
