Cícero Costha is a renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) instructor and former featherweight competitor from São Paulo, Brazil. Born in the Ipiranga district, he began training under Rocian Gracie and later earned his black belt from Marco Barbosa. Costha is the founder of the PSLPB (Projeto Social Lutando Pelo Bem) team, a social project aimed at providing underprivileged youth with opportunities in BJJ. Through this initiative, he has produced some of the sport’s biggest stars, including Leandro Lo, the Miyao Brothers, Thalison Soares, Hiago George, and Tiago Barros. Costha’s academy is known for its rigorous training environment, often housing athletes who live and train on-site, fostering a deep commitment to the sport. His contributions have significantly impacted the BJJ community, both as a competitor and as a mentor to the next generation of champions.
