Clark Rouson Gracie (born July 17, 1984) is an American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt and a prominent member of the Gracie family, renowned for his submission-oriented grappling style. He is the grandson of BJJ founder Carlos Gracie Sr. and the son of Carley Gracie, a pivotal figure in introducing BJJ to the United States. Clark began his training at the age of 10 under his father’s guidance in San Francisco and later moved to Rio de Janeiro to further his development. He received his black belt in 2010 from Carley Gracie at the BJJ Revolution Team academy in San Diego. Clark gained international recognition for his victory at the 2013 Pan American Championship, where he submitted his opponent with his signature omoplata technique, earning the Submission of the Year award from the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo. He also secured the 2017 World Master Championship in the middleweight division. As the head instructor of Clark Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Diego, he continues to teach and compete globally, embodying the Gracie legacy with a modern approach to BJJ.
