Faisal Fahad Al Ketbi is a distinguished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), born on October 15, 1987, in Abu Dhabi. He began his martial arts journey at the age of 10, initially focusing on freestyle wrestling. Around 2010, he transitioned to BJJ, training under coaches Alex Paz and Maiky Reiter, and was awarded his black belt in May 2014 .
Al Ketbi has achieved significant success in both national and international competitions. He is a five-time world champion in Ne-waza/BJJ under the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) . Notably, he has secured multiple medals in events such as the Abu Dhabi World Pro and the Asian Beach Games .
