About Us
At Fight Back Academy, we solely teach Krav Maga, a tactical self defence system that is designed to meet the requirements of daily real-life.
Krav Maga covers 3 main topics: self defence, fighting and the protection of other people, such as a family member, friend or colleague. Krav Maga training is both practical and realistic, building upon the natural reactions of the human body which occur when presented with an unexpected situation of conflict. Krav Maga teaches you how to avoid, prevent, deter, or deal with all types of violent confrontations.
Krav Maga is not considered a traditional martial art, and is not a competitive sport. Krav Maga has no rules, and the only rule that it embraces, is staying safe if attacked by any predator (..”so that one may walk in peace” – Imi). Our training system is designed to cater all individuals from the age of 5 and beyond.
Don’t feel intimidated to start, in case you don’t have a fitness level or previous experience in combat systems, we will be working closely with you to achieve the desired technical and physical capabilities, and you can witness the change from the very first class.
