About Us
Gracie Barra Hunter Valley was established in 2013 by Professor Gene DeCrewis (aka Genão) with the belief that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has the power to transform lives. It’s remarkable to see how BJJ has become the fastest growing martial art globally, and we’re incredibly grateful to have a premium martial arts school in the Hunter Region. Our school was initially located on High Street Maitland from 2013 to 2019, but we eventually outgrew the space. Now, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve moved to a purpose-built facility at 4/51 Shipley Drive Rutherford
