Léon Larman is a French Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt under Julien Gaillard, representing the Caio Terra Association. Born on April 18, 1997, in Montpellier, France, he began training at age 9, inspired by his father’s passion for the sport. Larman has achieved notable success in European competitions, securing titles such as the IBJJF Paris Open and Rome Open, and was part of the victorious Team Europe at Polaris Squads 2 in 2020. Known for his technical prowess, particularly his berimbolo and back-take techniques, he has also contributed to the BJJ community through instructional content. Larman continues to compete at high-level events, including the Abu Dhabi World Pro and IBJJF championships, solidifying his reputation as one of Europe’s top grapplers.
