Leonardo “Leo” Nogueira is a highly accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt and a prominent figure within the Alliance Jiu-Jitsu team. Born on May 12, 1987, in Guarujá, São Paulo, Brazil, Leo began his BJJ journey at the age of 16 under the tutelage of Elcio Figueiredo at the Integracao Team. His early success, including a gold medal at the IBJJF World Championship as a blue belt, led him to join the prestigious Alliance Jiu-Jitsu academy in 2007, where he trained under Fabio Gurgel.
