Luan Carvalho is a distinguished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt and accomplished competitor, renowned for his dynamic guard game and technical prowess. Born on July 22, 1991, in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he began his martial arts journey with capoeira at the age of 10 before transitioning to BJJ at 11. Initially training under Ernesto in a local social project, Luan later joined the Nova União academy in Macaé, where he earned his black belt under Master Cláudio Joanino.
