Mário Reis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt under Sylvio Behring and one of the most accomplished featherweight competitors in the sport’s history. Born on February 23, 1979, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, he began his martial arts journey with judo at age 12 and transitioned to BJJ at 18. Reis quickly rose through the ranks, earning his black belt at 22 and securing his first world title the following year.
