Matt Serra is a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt under Renzo Gracie and was the first American to receive a black belt from him. A former UFC Welterweight Champion, Serra is renowned for his historic upset victory over Georges St-Pierre at UFC 69 in 2007. Beyond his MMA accomplishments, he has earned medals in prestigious grappling tournaments such as the ADCC and the IBJJF World Championships
