About Us
Maurício Oliveira Neto is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt under Júlio César Pereira, initially representing the GFT academy and later joining the Dream Art Project team in São Paulo, Brazil. He gained recognition as one of the sport’s top competitors after securing consecutive IBJJF World titles in the blue, purple, and brown belt divisions from 2016 to 2018. In May 2021, Oliveira achieved his first major black belt title by winning the medium-heavy division at the Brazilian Nationals in São Paulo. However, a significant knee injury in April 2022 temporarily halted his competitive career. After nearly a year of rehabilitation, he made a triumphant return at the Curitiba Summer Open, winning all his matches without conceding a point.
