About Us
Milton Bastos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller.
He began his martial arts journey at age 13 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Bastos is a former freestyle wrestler and has a degree in Physical Education.
He moved to the United States in 2009 to pursue a career in Jiu-Jitsu.
Milton received his black belt in 2010 and has since won multiple IBJJF titles.
He co-founded Ares BJJ, a respected global Jiu-Jitsu association.
Bastos has coached at various institutions, including Google and T-Mobile.
He owns and instructs at Liberdade BJJ in Nashville, Tennessee.
Milton has trained athletes worldwide, including in Hungary and Costa Rica.
He is known for his technical expertise and dedication to the Jiu-Jitsu community.
