About Us
At Oregon Grappling Arts, our mission is to provide our students with the highest level of jiu jitsu instruction in a safe and friendly community. OGA welcomes anyone interested in beginning a martial arts practice; no previous athletic experience is needed to get you on the mats. We are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential in the sport, whether they train as a hobbyist or aspire to be an elite competitor. At OGA, we have committed to a lifelong study of jiu jitsu, following the sport as it evolves and grows. In addition to being excellent teachers, OGA’s instructors are some of the most accomplished no gi BJJ competitors in the Portland area, having won championships and earned podium finishes in nearly all competitive rulesets.
