About Us
Before coming to bodyfit and training with David, I would have never thought in a million years I’d try a combat sport. I’ve never been involved in any kind of physical altercation and I’ve always seen myself as a weak skinny runner build. During the first few months of training jiu jitsu, it can be a bit confusing and frustrating. David was always patient, firm, and direct with his feedback and coaching style which really helped me stay consistent. When a training session would be exceptionally difficult for me he would always take time to ask me how I was doing. Now that I’m a few years into it, I can step back and really appreciate the culture that structured and consistent hard training will foster. I have an immense sense of pride belonging and competing under the team at bodyfit. That sense of pride comes from training hard, good coaching, and strong leadership.
