About Us
I’m a 3rd-degree Rigan Machado black belt under Professor Chris McCune and also a Judo brown belt. I love the art, culture and sense of community that BJJ brings. I’ve been coaching since my days at Straight Blast Gyms in Portland Oregon in 1993. My favorite part of teaching is seeing people learn and grow beyond any expectations that they had for themselves.
BJJ provides many avenues for people to challenge themselves and whatever their goal may be; fitness; sport; self defense or just being a part a of a supportive community.
