About Us
Located in Adelaide’s western suburbs, Westside BJJ is a Martial Arts club focused solely on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu including specific take down and grappling techniques.
We provide a safe, friendly environment for all who train with us and pride ourselves on having a super chill vibe – check your ego at the door. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
- Large 130sqm of mat space
- All clubs are welcome and we encourage cross training with other clubs
- Kids class for children aged between 6-13 years old
- Shower, sauna and ice bath on site for use after each session facilitating quicker recovery
- Onsite Chiropractor who specializes in the treatment of sporting injuries as well as a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist
The club is headed by 2nd degree Black Belt Dr David De Conte. Training since 2000, he has been a long time high level competitor having won multiple Pan Pacific, Australian, Victorian and South Australian Jiu Jitsu championships. David helped found Jiu Jitsu competition in South Australia from competition organizing, to refereeing, to competing in super fights on the initial state competitions. David was also instrumental in lobbying our State Government to legalize and legislate for the sport of MMA in SA. David also had the honor of competing in the first ever pro MMA fight in the cage in SA winning by TKO.
